MEET OUR FOUNDER ZACH.
The pandemic paved the way for Engine 13 Overland.
Zachary Lindeman was born and raised in Cincinnati but has lived all over the USA - most recently calling New York City home for more than 7 years. He founded Engine 13 while living on the road and working remote in the midst of the CoVid-19 pandemic. Due to CoVid, he found his way home to Cincinnati where he acquired an old firehouse in the revitalizing West End to build his adventure vans.
Currently working as Founder and CEO of Engine 13 Overland, as well as Director of IT for a New York City startup, Zach sees his main business function as “empowering people to do their best work by providing the best in class tools and security to do their job as efficiently as possible”.
A lot of that can be transferred and said about the founding principles of Engine 13 Overland - to empower you to get out of the house and see the world by providing the tools and ideas to do it. Be it a full blown adventure van build, roof top tent, or just a cooler and well wishes, Zach has lived on the road and knows what it takes to be a successful digital nomad. From the best spots [and worst] to get a decent cell phone signal to some more unknown locations where the stars and night sky make you understand how small we really are.
Zachary is a self described tech nerd, mountaineer, soccer player, Ironman, traveler and explorer; with a huge love for music, dogs, german cars, and snowboarding. You can find him on a mountain top in Utah, getting lost in the streets of Barcelona, at a World Cup match, at the finish line of an Ironman, or in the pit at a Dave Matthews show.
He built Engine 13 on the idea that life is meant to be lived. Get up and get out - live in the moment. See things, do things.. Climb that mountain, hike that hike, buy that plane ticket, see that concert..
